My former employer at a fast food joint I used to work at added a district manager that was everything but professional.
They had a very short-sighted approach to managing.
Because they had a terrible inventory system it led to a lot of food getting wasted and made employees get extra nervous about performance unnecessarily.
It was bad because it led to a major layoff that even included myself.
