I’ll be explaining why being fake is wrong.
Why is being fake wrong?
It’s because you’ll get stuck in a rat race.
Most of the time the facade comes via social media addiction.
You’ll end up being called what’s known as a materialistic moron.
Passive aggressive people in nature fit this mold for me because they’re so scared of offending people.
They try living up to an artificial image that’s not them.
What is a rat race?
A rat race is known as what’s called a Hedonic treadmill.
It’s a metaphor where you get something waved in your face with it being an illusion of whatever you think you want at the time.
It could be a high-paying job for this example.
The part where it’s an illusion is that you’ll be spending your time doing things you absolutely hate.
It’s the price that most never tell you is owed.
What should humanity do about social media addiction?
Here’s what humanity should do to figure out this social media addiction that most deal with:
- Practice more techniques that help us keep our time
- Learn to use effective coping mechanisms and strategies to manage stress or whatever relating problems it causes
- discuss the problems it causes by sharing stories
- Create more respectful and sincere messages to empower ourselves
What materialistic things do people want?
These are a few of the common materialistic things most people want:
- cars
- jewelry
- designer clothing
- Houses
What it comes back to is criticism if you ask me.
Only one could be debated as an absolute need.
That being the house.
But there’s a fear of criticism that comes with most when dealing with these items because we as a society are taught to have the latest and greatest.
And if we don’t then we have to prepare to get laughed at and made fun of as a result.
What passive aggressive thing have you done when your partner made you upset?
Do I sound like a hypocrite yet?
Well if I do I promise I’m not.
I’m actually condemning the behavior because it’s cowardly.
I’m talking about being passive aggressive and it’s my substitution for being scared to offend people.
When I apply it to how I was in the past with partners it would show in numerous ways:
- Being sarcastic
- Beating around the bush
- Showing signs of jealousy without saying I felt that way
Not one of my best moments but they’re stories to learn from.
Who was the most fake person you met in your life?
I’m gonna choose to keep the name of the person completely confidential because it’s not my style to do callouts on the internet.
And if I can control the procedure about sharing name-sensitive information then I’ll do what I can to make it professional.
This person however will know exactly who they are if they get a chance to read this.
They’ll most likely get this from social media but I’ll continue.
They’re fake because they pulled a gun on me and covered it up by saying it’s a joke.
You know who you are!
We went to high school together and even tried working together.
Our fallout exactly happened sophomore year from what I remember.
