Having something in common means you and another person has similar interests. It’s usually a fear or wish that’s shared.

It could be characteristics as well. The popular counterpart in this scenario is typically a friend even though it could apply to oppositions too.

How to express having something in common

There’s over 114 words and meanings that are synonymous with the term having something in common.

When we tell someone that we have something in common it proves that it doesn’t necessarily mean numerous things.

If it’s in a sentence then it could go ‘We’re usually joined by the wrestling team when we hit up our favorite restaurant.’
