I’ll be sharing my thoughts on how important having a YouTube channel is.
How important is having a YouTube account?
It’s incredibly important when considering it’s Google’s search engine.
Here’s the perks of doing research through YouTube:
- the quality of content
- Opportunity to grow if you’re a creator
- The videos have a long shelf life
It’s not mandatory exactly to have an account since videos will play with or without a login. On top of the benefit in being able to customize your experience with each visit it also compliments creatives but it allows them to contribute art to the world.
What does Google owning YouTube mean?
When Google bought YouTube it allowed YouTube to remain the video search engine to keep its identity while Google continued to grow.
They go hand in hand pretty well so their devices and services will inherently work well together.
How high of quality are YouTube videos?
The highest quality of YouTube videos are offered to be streamed in 4k and 1080p.
For those unaware that’s the highest resolution possible.
As for the audio portion.
It streams in 192kbps AAC.
How easy is it to grow a YouTube channel?
It can be tough in the early stages but things tend to be their toughest when trying to reach your first several thousand subs.
The most important practices that get emphasized during this time is:
- finding new viewers and fans
- Collaborate with other successful channels
- Creating quality content
What is the lifespan of a YouTube video?
YouTube videos have lifespans for over 30 days according to experts.
In fact it could be argued that videos are the longest lasting marketing materials available.
The important point I wanted to draw attention to is what should be focused on more than the videos themselves.
It’s how long YouTube can remain a career.
