I’ll be starting a discussion on why Los Angeles has the name it does.

Why is Los Angeles named that

Los Angeles has the name it does because of the rich history it holds. Its name translates effectively to The Town of Our Lady the Queen of the Angels.

If we look a little further then we’ll even learn that it’s based on a celebrated moment called Feast Day that’s on August 2nd in the Franciscan calendar.
