I’ll be explaining why the Wii shop channel shut down.

Why did the wii shop channel shut down?

Because Nintendo decided to focus their efforts on other areas they were developing it led to the company shutting down the Wii shop channel. It makes sense they have the Nintendo Switch.

I owned a Wii since 2008. I’d download retro games from the shop and sometimes enjoy them more than their newer releases.

It took getting Wii points and before I knew it I’d be playing the original super Mario or Zelda game. One of my happier moments!
