I’ll be explaining why Kansas City is in Missouri.
Why is Kansas City in Missouri?
Kansas City is actually the name of 2 cities in separate states. Missouri and Kansas! The KCMO side is named that for a couple reasons actually. It’s close to where 2 important rivers combine and could be looked at as more popular because of the history of the Kansa tribe. Other than that my favorite fact is that they’ll be the host of the 2024 Division 1 Wrestling Championships.
Final thoughts
My favorite was the NCAA Championships are going to be held this year at the Sprint Arena.
Because I have an audience that’s well in tuned with College Wrestling there might be people looking to attend.
If you choose to go then I recommend choosing a hotel that fits your needs in KCMO.
After you have a safe place to stay there’s plenty of areas to explore from there!
