I wanna ask a question I’m sure is rhetorical in some ways, but why am I so bad at making beats?

I used GarageBand, some audacity too but that’s about it.

It’s bothersome when it limits my range as an emcee in some ways.

I got fire lyrics that’s got range but I’m particular in some ways to where I hear it on specific sounds.

That leaves me with the option of either purchasing a beat or stay “local” and find type beats to flip on YouTube.

But I’m rambling at this point.

Let’s get to the question.

Why am I so bad at making beats?

I’m choosing to be vulnerable for a moment and share my personal struggle of being bad at a trait that’s complimentary to hip hop. It’s what I’m considering to be a failure and the thing that’s holding me back from going commercial and add music production to my list of many talents. I got goals of figuring it out eventually and remix samples to songs that I liked growing up.
