New customers usually get better deals to encourage some form of commitment when they join. They understand that most people don’t wanna deal with the hassle of cancellations.
Why convenience is good for customers and business

Avoiding cancellations is a matter of maintaining convenience for the customer overall.
If the introduction price is attractive enough it’ll keep a prospect because installation in itself can be a hassle.
Most people don’t want to rebuild when something already gets started.
It’s the same as getting a habit started.
Someone wise mentioned that they can work for or against you.
That’s where having a strong enough product is mandatory.
They need to love your service as much you believe in it for them to stay around for the long-term.
And that should be the goal for anybody in business.
