I’ll be explaining why belief’s so powerful.
I’ve felt really alone in my beliefs, even despite hitting 10,000 all-time views today.
“Why” you may ask, the reason’s simple.
I’m really feeling as if I’m becoming my own person and part of that is earning beliefs that are original to my identity.
But let’s get into why belief can be such a powerful force.
Why is belief so powerful?
Belief is so powerful to me because it creates resilience.
There’s also science that backs up this claim too.
Personally belief is equated to confidence for me.
One of my strongest examples of this is applying to beauty and watching people elevate from believing they’re beautiful.
What does resilience in the face of adversity mean?
Resilience in the face of adversity is being able to adapt well when challenges come your way.
It’s common to be known as having resilience if you can respond well to traumatic events.
So when there’s a tragedy that occurs you’re not the type of person who gets destroyed completely when it happens.
It can also be applied well to situations where you may be faced with threats or even stress and you’re not moved to an unmanageable state.
What makes belief scientific?
- It shapes our worldview
It’s scientific because it activates our senses that’s well documented with plenty of research.
Our brains for example.
It’s a thought process you have to hold in which you continue to feed those thoughts.
If you believe something it’s usually a stance that you’ll have to keep validating.
The relief comes in having plenty of points you and I can reflect on.
We can continue going back in life and ask ourselves why we think what we believe is true.
And if you can come up with a couple reasons for why we think it’s true then it explains why we believe it.
What makes belief and confidence related?
Belief and confidence are related because it’s centered around a growth mindset.
It’s important to note that it’s different from a fixed mindset in where we’ll be everything we’ll ever be from the start.
Confidence is amazing because it harbors a resilience to stress which can be a major mood deterrent if you’re stuck in it.
Also being synonymous to trust and faith it inspires us to hold on to good feelings that lead to sustained optimism.
Why believing you’re beautiful actually make you attractive
Believing you’re beautiful is an example because some of the best glow up stories prove it.
Have you ever heard the saying “I think therefore I am”?
That saying alone should explain things.
I personally believe in this claim because it’s worked for countless people.
Very often we’ll see someone get a significant other that doesn’t match up.
One person might not look as attractive to a majority but it’s a belief in how they see themselves that makes the difference.
It’s a confidence factor that has to be developed and it starts working.
It actually goes back to another lesson I shared on artists that may struggle with belief in their craft.
The ones that do end up way better than the ones that struggle with liking their art.
People start believing the things you do if you stick with the belief long enough.
Plain and simply put.
Belief FAQs
How belief influences my visions
I see belief influencing the outcomes of my visions as I grow to be a better person.
Generally speaking it makes things seem possible that only felt like dreams before.
It’s signing up for an experience that eventually draws attention to yourself one way or another.
I can personally attest to that because it played a role in the amount of friends I kept especially going into adulthood.
Just because the things you believe in grow the same way you do as a person doesn’t mean everyone else will see things the same.
And because of that you could have moments where you feel ostracized.
But as my belief grew so did my limits.
The things that I thought I could do expanded and it separated myself from mediocrity I’d say.
It’s great reflecting on the connections I’ve made along the way just from growing as a person.
Anyone could do but for me it first took belief that I could be the type of person a stranger would want to associate themself with.
Just my 2 cents.
What about belief inspires us to take action?
Belief inspires us to take action because it’s literally faith in motion.
The way it works is realizing that it takes more than just having fruitless faith to get what you really want in life.
It’s simpler to understand it as we think about something and then we actually go do it despite what others may claim in saying it works both ways.
If we follow things in chronological order then it explains evolution in general.
We think about something, picture it in our heads and then attempt to carry that thought out.
Most of the time that’s how things get done anyway.
We visualize the goal and eventually complete it but that’s highly dependent on if we could really see ourselves doing the action that comes to mind.
It might be a bit of a controversial take but I’m willing to argue that competent members of any religion could support this claim.
It doesn’t matter how it’s translated but most religions with text support the claim that faith without works is dead.
If you subscribe to that belief then congratulations!
You’re probably someone who’s a big dreamer as well as a big achiever too.
