I’ll be sharing the type of advice I would give to the homeless.
This information could prove to be useful for anyone that’s trying to get back on their feet in any way.
I constantly hear about homeless problems in popular areas, even my local area of Chicago proves that true.
To the skeptics that say “it’s easier said than done” I challenge you to expand your lens to learn something useful.
It’s coming from a thankful heart, and excitement to share useful info that I believe could be life changing.
But without anything extra to say let’s move on to the message.
What type of advice I would give the homeless
The type of advice that I would give the homeless is the following:
- Keep a persistent attitude
- Take the latest learning lesson that meshed well with you and run with it
- Ask someone what they like from you and give it to them
- Be a force where you’re stationed at
- Find a girl to make happy
What about a persistent attitude gets results
There’s a few reasons as to why you would wanna have a persistent attitude regardless of who you are:
- It shows you can stick to a plan
- It’s the attitude that you display which will get you what you’re looking for
- Your positivity can and will determine how successful you are with getting what you pursue
- Your persistence can be a life-changing recipe in you getting what you really want
Why your latest learning lesson is the best one
Your last great lesson is something that can range depending on who you are.
You might’ve gotten the best message you could use within the last year or so.
If you’re able to remember that bar then you’re sitting pretty.
There’s an unspoken truth that I find still holds true, that’s believing experience is one of your best teachers.
Ideally you want to make learning to learn a goal.
I’ll share a quick story:
I spoke with someone I was visiting in the hospital and it brightened up my day a little when they expressed a desire to become a better reader.
It came about that way after I offered them a crossword puzzle.
That reminded me about a project I did in school making those same puzzles.
What it did was enlighten me about the possibility of being able to teach people to be better readers through crosswords.
Final thoughts
These are the pieces of advice that I would give the homeless again:
- Be persistent
- Hold on to the latest useful tip you were given and do something with it
- Find something that people like to get from you and provide it
- Focus on being a force in the area you’re known to be at
- Find a girl to make happy
Again these messages could be universal in nature, but the last on the bullet point list applying to men.
