According to Psychology Today they suggest that physical beauty doesn’t matter as much as we would like to think.

There was wise advice that I came across when answering the difference between love and just casual attraction.

If you can rationalize your happiness on their existence then it’s time that tests the desires.

Overall there’s going to be a desire for someone that’s physically attractive but there’s a mental thing that plays a role in perception.

Ask around and I’m sure you’ll get the same response in most people having attraction beyond looks with people they loved.

The importance of sculpture with Greek artistry

Greek art forms were some of the first to ever accurately portray humanity.

The history points to them mainly creating sculptures of ancient Gods but have a distinct uniqueness that makes their pieces classics.

Their common theme is having meanings that match accomplishments made in man kind.

There’s a close detail made in each sculpture and it comes down to everything there is to say about the piece.

One of the most famous is Zeus of Olympia.

There’s been many original artwork of this sketch but they share this theme in common.

Roman realism rivaled idealism

Continuing off the mentioning of Greek sculpture’s importance in Idealism it was rivaled with a Roman realism view as well.

It would show in the artwork created.

The realism truths that would be revealed in Roman artwork would include coming to grips with a reality.

The Idealistic pieces would symbolize a principle or philosophy to live by to succeed.

Final thoughts

Greek artists favored idealism because it was aligned with the belief that outer beauty matched the inner.

The major difference is the style of the sculptures.

With the Roman sculptures there’s more variety in facial features and the Greek style was limited in comparison.
