Most of the time it’s the case because they’re scared of:
- Losing their job
- Safety risks
- Ethics violations
- Possible consequences with mankind’s unreasonable desire to create the ultimate being
Why is AI sometimes wrong?
Because it’s sometimes loaded with information that’s incomplete.
That also explains why it even makes mistakes when it comes to producing a product.
Simply put AI’s don’t know everything and shouldn’t be used as if they do.
Save yourself the embarrassment of having AI do entire projects on your behalf; you might look foolish.
AI’s don’t necessarily do research, they have a database of words that they’ll fill in the blank with.
What do they fill in you may ask, it’s whatever you type in.
The best way to put it is that AI programs work as a big autocorrect tool.
This is where the human element can best these amazing pieces tech.
We still have the element of research and using better judgement to piece info (that makes sense) together.
Why are people against AI?
It’s because it could be used to do unethical things.
Some of the activities could be related to privacy violations or spreading ‘fake news’ that could harm some people’s livelihoods.
Go ahead and look on most social media apps these days…
I bet you’ll find posts that are clickbait material at best.
A couple of my favorite scandals that ended up being are false nudes and statements.
Those are few of the bad sides of AI though, there’s been plenty of good done with them.
I’ve personally gotten better with using AI based software in order to create visuals to a point I wrote about.
I’m not the best painter by any means but being able to describe my thoughts to a computer and it generate something similar’s been incredibly useful.
There’s even points now where it’s getting to the likes of making videos which could be another game changer.
It actually reminds me of a much more basic tool I used in high school called Google SketchUp.
We were able to create visuals of buildings and models with the assistance of premade designs.
Being able to have a video though is way more different.
We’re in an era where most prefer videos to learn whatever it is they wanna know.
What did Elon Musk say about AI?
It’s a paraphrase from what was said at a conference, but he says that we can have our jobs for leisure but everything can be done by AI.
I get straight to it by addressing my own thoughts in a short I created:
I actually made this to prove a point in acknowledging there’s just some things that AI can’t replicate.
It’s not winning a Grammy yet but it takes experience and a little research in order to speak real facts in your rap.
And that’s something I just haven’t found AI to do yet.
At best it’s only been able to emulate the voice of popular artists already, but I’d like to see it make original content without putting extra information to it.
Why is it believed AI can take over the world?
It’s because there’s experts that suggest machines can become so smart they’ll pass human intelligence.
