Why should you not drink deionized water? (Explained)

I’ll be explaining why you should not drink deionized water.

The human body’s up to 70% of water so it would only make sense to care about what kind you put in yours.

What we’re gonna do is dive further into a type of water you should avoid when it comes to drinking.

Here we go.

Why should you not drink deionized water?

It might have organic compounds that could make you sick from viruses and bacteria. On top of that it could also have an effect that causes mineral deficiency or other chemical imbalances in the body.

Why do we use deionized water in an experiment?

This type of water avoids absorbing light. Also, it lacks the contaminants and impurities that can interfere with chemical reactions or even damage lab equipment. It’ll only hold traces of carbonic acid so titrations will be more accurate.

Why is water used in experiments?

Because water is a good solvent, it can easily pick up impurities that could possibly taint chemistry experiments.

Also it helps to maintain the accuracy and reliability of experimental results by eliminating potential sources of error and contamination.

Why is distilled water so important?

A well-designed distiller will remove 99.9% of contaminants

Why is distilled water better for weight loss?

It’s because it’s pure H20 without any minerals which make it even easier to flush out your system.
