I need to understand why the iheartradio app displays the wrong song when played on tv.
This might be myself jumping the gun a little bit in terms of making a minor complaint about a good app.
I found myself using iHeartradio’s app a lot recently and just notice the wrong artwork sometimes.
We’ll see how it ages but let’s get to the question.
Why does iheartradio display the wrong song?
There’s not a definitive answer, sad to say. But there’s a few possibilities and relevant point to address. As far as its display mixup mine was with the tv, but I found streaming in general was a popular issue with androids.
To stay on topic though I got a theory of it either being:
- a limited database (especially with newer songs)
- Mix speed with each segment
Final thoughts
None of these are official explanations but they’re my best guess about why it’s the case.
