I’ll be explaining why a grand’s 1000.
This might be my most random post yet but I like talking about money and I think I’m pretty clever, so I’m gonna attempt tackling this question.
Who would turn down $1000 in today’s economy?
Let me be careful before I expose somebody, but let’s move on.
Why is a grand 1000?
It’s because gangsters helped fill in the rest of the word to match the amount they would earn at a time, especially when starting out making money.
So a G is what they would go by and the four letters represented the four figures they would earn at a time.
Maybe that’s why I have a fascination with the word.
