How did it come to be that Apple Computer called its line the “Macintosh”?
It was inspired through a couple different reasons according to Andy Hertzfield.
He says a major contributor is Jef Raskin, him and his admiration for the literal Macintosh Apple.

It’s easy to see how big of a concept they saw this technology being when finally being released to the public.
It makes me think at times why it ultimately was considered a failure.
