I wanna know what your most recent DragonBall purchase is.
DragonBall’s probably my first anime I ever got into as a kid so it played a role in my development growing up.
I’m someone who bought plenty of their games, a couple dvds, and even a few toys as a fan of the series.
I liked manga once I got into Naruto and started getting the Shonen Jump weekly magazines.
Granted most of my purchases came when I was younger dealing with DragonBall it’s actually been a while since I went out of my way.
Lately my purchases been stuff that gives me options, especially for fictional characters.
So that would cover services like CrunchyRoll, Jump Force, etc.
What’s your most recent Dragonball purchase?
My most recent DragonBall purchase was one in Chicago at a local boutique shop involving a chibi figurine (I believe it’s called). It’s of Vegito. As far as the show goes I like both the Metamoran and Potara but since they had only one it’s the one I got. There was plenty to pick from, but since I’m a fan of the fusion so I bought it on my way out.
How much would you pay for some chibi art?
For the Vegito piece I actually got a really good deal at only a quarter.
It was sold at a boutique that you wouldn’t expect to see this thing anyways.
But they usually go for around $5-$10.
For example, this is chibi art that someone made and shared on Reddit.

If you go to DeviantArt and you make these styles yourself then they have a showcase where you’re able to sell your own chibi designs.
The cool thing is you’re able to do your own marketing and set your own prices.
What is the difference between Vegito and Gogeta?
If you followed DBZ all the way through watching the movies included then you’re probably familiar with both of these fusions.
In the show at the time only one was considered canon; Vegito.
That’s the fusion that’s done with potara earrings.
We see this in the Buu saga.
Matter of fact we also get to learn about the Metamoran dance too.
It gets complicated if you’re only a casual fan and assume that because you’ve seen Gogeta if you’ve seen the Fusion Reborn movie.
He’s actually non-canon in the point in time, the only thing that counted in the storyline was Gotenks.
Whats your favorite fusion character in dragonball?
I’m big on a good finishing move because I really would get into the games I would play using these characters, but to pick one is Gotenks.
Gotenks was the first fusion I paid attention to.
I’m pretty sure I liked it because it involved Saiyans.
I didn’t realize it earlier but there was technical fusions that happened much earlier in the show.
We could look at Nail and Kami, the androids, and even Buu.

What’s the most powerful move Vegito has?
If you go by what gamerant has to say they claim it’s spirit sword.
Most of my experience with this fighter deals with his fight with Buuhan.
There wasn’t much to see with Vegito at this point in time because of how lopsided of a fight this was with Buu.
It’s so entertaining I’d even recommend you check it out if you’ve made it this far in the post.
But the spirit sword never really struck me as a top tier move in the show.
In fact I can’t even remember it being usable in any of the DBZ Budokai games.
I could be wrong but I only went as far as Tenkaichi 3 being honest.
Final thoughts
I would share a picture of the one I bought but I lost it.
The DragonBall merchandise out there are pretty detailed no matter where you go.
They’re one of my favorite anime characters to draw, (mainly because they’re so easy to do) but I can imagine for people who build it’s simple to make as well.
Regardless though, if the character’s someone I like and there’s something that looks cool that’s a collectible CHANCES are I’ll get it.
That’s all there’s to say about this purchase.
But what about you?
