I’ll be explaining what makes the Xenomorphs from Alien frightening.
What makes the Xenomorph frightening?
The Xenomorph from the Alien franchise looks frightening for a few reasons:
The writers play on the fear of the unknown
The aliens are Stealthy
They’re Agile
And they have an amazing ability to blend in with their environment.
Fear of the unknown
From a writing standpoint the Company that employed the crew stationed on an expedition was made ironically.
It goes “in space no one can hear you scream” and it’s highly likely that the aliens were meant to copy the same fear that the humans would experience.
The way I interpret it is that it can be taken in a reciprocal way.
The same way humans are supposed to be scared of aliens is how we can also sympathize with the Aliens as well.
