It’s AJ, and this is my commercialized blog site, where I can share my lifestyle interests and provide thoughtful insights on topics worth discussing.

I’ll be explaining why peer development’s important.

Inspired from a moment of reflection I had about the friends I used to have when I was in elementary school I wanted to know more.

Here it goes.

Why peer development is important

  • Boosts collaboration
  • Improved knowledge retention
  • Learning
  • Coaching
  • Increased engagement

Why is collaboration important in society?

Collaboration proves to be important in society because of the benefits they provide.

One of my personal favorites are the teamwork aspects.

To me they’re 2 separate things.

Teamwork starts off with a goal where I also see a collaboration having personal interests that end up working out together.

Being skilled in both leads to efficiency.

You’re gonna learn how to do your work at a better pace and smarter if you care to.

You’ll learn to be innovative with your approach to solving problems.

How is cooperation important in peer development

According to ABC Headstart Society it’s crucial to friendship development in the preschool aged.

I challenge it even further though to where cooperation follows well into most people’s career as well.

There’s numerous scenarios in where projects have to get completed with the assistance of unrelated departments.

I can immediately apply it to music and think of an album with a highly anticipated rollout only gets done with a team behind them.

And this team has to work in unison to get things done.

How is problem-solving important in peer development

It can improve situational and social awareness.

You’ll be someone that has what it takes to consistently contribute to the greater good of the group.

It’s safe to say that it’s more of an insurance policy on being sure you can solve problems.

Maybe there’s someone who isn’t happy the quality of a product you served them.

How would you fix the situation as a manager and still keep business?

Just a hypothetical but having that aspect of critical thinking is incredible.

Final thoughts

These are my reasons peer development is important:

  • It teaches empathy
  • Cooperation
  • Problem solving increases
