Dragon Ball GT’s arguably peak Dragon ball history.
The timing of when it takes place is further along than anything else created.
It has one of the best villains in the show and has the greatest power we’ve seen as a fan base yet.
Also it has a personal favorite with SSJ4 Gogeta.
It’s a shame that it’s non-canon but has some of the best concepts of story telling I can recall.
I personally would’ve like to see DragonBall Daima be a story after GT that tells the next generation’s story.
Either way I’m excited for what’s to come but this was my case for DragonBall GT.

From there comes Dragon Ball Z. I highly recommend you start with the manga if you’re trying to appreciate Goku’s beginning story.
