What are your feelings about eating meat?
It deserves to be enjoyed the same way anything else that can be consumed should.
I had leaders in mentorship groups who claimed to be vegans and I felt like it was a lifestyle habit they kept up while working on a project.
So as for my feelings about eating meat it doesn’t seem bad.
Matter of fact it can be good sometimes.
But you have to get the right things taken care of first.
The cook has to know what they’re doing.
The animals have to be taken care of well.
The list goes on.
But same as what I mentioned about the other great things in life.
It should be enjoyed in moderation.
If your whole life is focused on meat then where’s the time for fruits, vegetables and all of those great nutrition sources too?
Moderation and rotation is the plan.
I’ll leave you with a Ted Talk that I feels compliments the topic pretty well.
Thanks for reading.
Meat consumption justification
There was a point made on Quora that I feel explained my stance on eating meat all the way to 2018.
We are in a food chain that flows in complete harmony.
We as predators typically should be (and always have) had to eat the things we could kill.
That’s a societal norm and personal belief.
It may be as simple as that but I tend to look deeper into the things I’m interested in.
It actually explains why I had a brief stint of feeling guilty for its consumption but that’s how you find something to stand for.
I move forward even with my career as an artist and realize that everything requires moderation.
Not outright abolishing anything that could be consumed but at least enjoying it within reason.
Sugars
Alcohol
Recreational drugs
Sex
And yes it includes meat.
