Welcome to my Aliens Colonial Marines product review.
Aliens: Colonial Marines Review
I don’t recommend this game. Nothing against the franchise or anything. I’m actually a fan but there’s a red flag about this release that’s too hard to ignore.
Then again an opinion might change depending on the type of gaming device you’re playing on. Either way I don’t think it applies to Colonial Marines and give it 6 on a 10 point scale.
The major red flag
Poor A.I.

That’s the major deal breaker for me when it comes to this game.
The right AI system will make the difference in whether a game feels realistic or not.
That’s actually one of the things that make games like GTA so successful with each release.
The NPCs and everyone involved feels believable.
It makes actions feel earned and you as the gamer feel completely in control.
My experience with the Alien franchise
Ever since my youth I tended to gravitate towards abstract art and interplanetary stories eventually made its way to my radar, including Alien.
My parents would get the newest Alien movie and I was familiar with it when that time came.
It really hit its peak with my interest once AVP came out.
Unfortunately it was short lived because the followed up films didn’t do much justice for the character, or maybe I should say species.
Anyways I still kept my interest in gaming but barely came across anything that had specifically good representation for aliens particularly.
There were a few titles.
The only one that’s really sticking out is Invade All Humans which surprisingly I never played.
However as far Aliens it got added into Mortal Kombat and a sorry PS2 game that was dropped but that was about it.
Very disappointing.
