I’ll be answering why people create multiple social media accounts.

You’ll find someone with a Facebook and then find out they also got a Twitter but still somehow ends up going viral on TikTok.

We’re gonna figure out why that is.

I’m someone who has numerous accounts myself, but in my defense it’s actually part of my training that I’m using with Wealthy Affiliate’s learning course.

Anyways, let’s get to the question at hand.

Why do people create multiple social media accounts?

People create multiple social media accounts because success is defined differently on each platform. There’s more reach that you can have potentially when it comes to active users you’ll be in front of. LinkedIn is starting to go out of style in terms of being a digital resume and losing the war with socials. And if you’re a brand then you’ll want as much awareness on what’s being said about yours as possible.

Why do people always use social media?

I came up with an extensive list that lists the typical reasons why people seem to constantly use their social media accounts.

It’s only 4 but they apply effectively to anyone that uses any online platform:

• Find funny and entertaining content
• Fill up spare time
• Stay connected with friends
• Share photos and videos

Final thoughts

People create multiple social media accounts because each platform share the option with sharing photos and videos most of the time, it’s just done differently depending on which site’s used.

It can be a very useful tool if you learn how to communicate effectively on them.

Unfortunately there’s only so much time in a day so it can be hard to keep up with every single platform, but find what you’re looking for and grow a meaningful network if you believe in what the site stands for.
