Social media life can be considered fake because of all the bots that inhabit platforms, a.k.a. burner accounts. Most of the time the people who are verified aren’t even living a reality because it’s not what they display to the world that they’re trying to connect with. Socials should be seen as an extension to your life, not the centerpiece of it all.
