I’ll be explaining why blogs aren’t seen as credible.
It’s a shame that it’s the perception that a lot of fellow bloggers get.
Blogging’s been around since the internet was glamorized.
But let’s get to the bottom of this question.
Why are blogs not credible
Blogging has a bad rap because there’s some out there with clear intentions of only wanting to sell you something. That’s a big turnoff for most people and it shows that you’re only chasing money instead of helping your people. For the most part though I’d say there’s more good than bad but we need more experts in this industry and need to be held credible by our peers.
Only wanting to sell
Having the reputation of only wanting to sell something makes you come across very bad as a blog.
The problem with it is that a lot of bloggers share products that aren’t even what they’re advertised as.
My gripe is when a blogger is clearly sharing a product out service that’s junk, it’s not something that their audience could even use.
If you have a blog that’s advertised for dogs then why would you try to sell your audience cat food?
That might be a little exaggerated but when you try to keep pushing things that people don’t even need then you’re just wasting their time and your own.
The point is that you’re supposed to listen to your audience’s wants and needs then provide it.
If you just keep spamming with affiliate links then you just come across as desperate.
