I’ll be explaining why Tetris is good for your brain.
This classic game has been around for as long as video games have been a thing, the only other game I could see rivaling its legacy is Pong maybe.
It’s simple, all you do is accumulate points by slotting different blocks in a line that erases itself as you continue to stack them properly.
But why is it good for your brain?
How does such a simple game continuously gain popularity?
It’s nothing complex.
But we’re gonna figure that out.
Let’s go.
Why is Tetris good for your brain
Tetris is considered good for your brain and you’ll get the answer by just watching the Tetris movie. Just kidding, but it enhances areas of your brain that’s highly valuable. It increases your memory capacity. Helps your motor and cognitive functions. And challenges your spatial (as well as your perceptive) systems.
Final thoughts
Tetris has plenty of benefits that speak for itself when it comes to what it provides for the players who choose to play.
I personally think some of the simplest games have some of the best perks when you observe what makes them so popular for so long.
It’s the same with some card games.

They’re actually some of my favorites to play.
Tetris however is a game that extends through numerous generations and still passes the tests of time with how relevant it still is in the digital age.
