Halloween’s on the way so I started looking and somehow came to the conclusion that I want to do static shock cosplay.

This was one of the shows I would watch when kids WB was showing it and I actually was following it for a decent amount of time but it eventually got cancelled.

It’s a shame too because I felt like it had a good variety of villains at least and they rotated them around pretty decently.

They maybe could’ve had more superheroes that was in Virgil’s hometown, Dakota City.

Other than that it was a great show!

It had humor, okay action sequences and had enjoyable episode by episode storylines.

I wish they brought it back in some way, but in the meanwhile I’ll just have to settle with nostalgia since they brought it back to MAX.

Why was Static Shock cancelled?

This DC comics classic was cancelled because of low product/merchandise sales.

You would think that they have some better sales in terms of toys and apparel.

Static Shock was an amazing addition to the DC universe and had 4 seasons going strong with the animated series.

One of the more famous crossovers that I can remember the show having was with Batman.

That was only the second black superhero I’ve witnessed team up with the dark knight since Green Lantern in the Justice League.

And now that I have dreadlocks it just hits a little different.
