I’ll be answering the question why is my Facebook page restricted from advertising.
Depending on if you’re someone who heavily relies on Facebook and it’s tools to promote a service or product they provide this might be something you want to pay attention to.
There’s a few different ways you can advertise on the platform whether it’s paid ads or the organic method that requires you to make personal posts to your friend group in hopes of securing business.
Well if you pay attention you’ll get more methods that’ll help you out if that’s your choice to use Facebook as your vehicle.
Why is my Facebook Page restricted from advertising
This situation came up a lot when I was active on Facebook when someone would complain about the site getting in the way of their business. When it comes to this specific issue it’s most likely because of suspicious activity on their account. And it can happen in a few different ways.
Can you see who reported your page on Facebook?
Facebook has a privacy policy set in place where the information you share with them will be kept private unless it must be used in a court room.
With that point made, the account actually won’t be able to see who reported them.
The Help Center has most of this info available if you need to get specific details.
According to Small Business – Cron they say even when it comes to individual posts that are reported you may not even find out what specific post was affected at the time.
If you were to report somebody that could end up bad for one of the 2 parties if they find out somebody’s getting in the way of their freedom.
It works the same way in the courtroom.
What are Facebook page violations?
You hate false news?
So does Facebook.
That’s why they got rules set in place with the standard of their community or community-standards.
Again, these are things that you can find right on their website.
The crazy thing’s that it applies to Instagram too.
Well maybe not too crazy because both of those companies are related but that’s the thing that social media of all kind are trying to crack down on.
The violations can range from any type of message that can influence others to commit crimes.
That’s actually why I decided to get a website of my own with a domain that’s in my name.
Does Facebook punish you for posting too much?
There’s a lot ways that Facebook can fault you on their site.
You could be:
- posting too much
- Sharing too much
- Adding people too fast
I’m actually speaking from experience when I tell you that Facebook doesn’t like that.
Matter of fact they pick up pretty quickly on people that they think are abusing their features.
I’ll add that they handle it pretty fair because they’ll give you a warning first but then they’ll suspend your ability to do any of those things eventually.
You might have to wait days until you can use them again.
So keep that in mind and possibly look into adopting an attitude of patience if you try to game their system.
Why is my Facebook restricted for one hour?
This actually ties in nicely with my point I made earlier with where if you violate Facebook’s guidelines you’ll pay in one way or another.
Earning an hour restriction is really a slap on the wrist when you think about the longer suspensions they’ll hand out to anyone they see as being a spam account.
Like I said before you can get banned for days and if you consistently do the thing that gets you put in “Facebook Jail” then you could get your account removed completely.
So slow down on trying to rush things on an already instant platform.
