Why is shadow clone jutsu forbidden
The shadow clone jutsu is actually okay for a shinobi to use, but the multi shadow clone Jutsu is different because of the amount of chakra it takes to produce so many clones. It’s ultimately a risky move for the average ninja to use but it’s a different case for Naruto specifically.
Introducing the Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu
This is the Jutsu that was in the secret scroll mentioned in the very first episode of the Naruto series.
It was one of the techniques found inside a special scroll that Mizuki encouraged Naruto to take.
There’s many different jutsu that could be learned but by the time Iruka sensei caught up to Naruto he found out that his student learned only one move.
And you guessed it, that move was the Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu.
Why it’s different for Naruto
Naruto can get away with using this technique because of the large amount of chakra that he already holds in his body.
Again, in the very first arc of the show it’s revealed that he holds a powerful fox demon inside his body called the nine-tailed fox.
It makes sense why he’s able to pull off such high level justu very early on in the series.
That fox demon gets shown to be a big reason as to why Naruto makes such fast gains in most of the arcs.
