It’s AJ, and this is my commercialized blog site, where I can share my lifestyle interests and provide thoughtful insights on topics worth discussing.

I wanna know what’s the worst rap song you ever heard.

I’m being careful about things because I make music myself, rap music specifically and I would hate to hurt someone’s feelings.

Of course this is a very objectively opinionated question, but it’s fun so I’m choosing to do it.

Hopefully that’s the most I’ll use those complicated words but the quality of songs, there’s a lot of different music that plenty of people feel different ways about.

Let’s move on.

What is the worst rap song ever heard

The worst rap song is the one that wasn’t made. It might sound cliche but I’m gonna answer this without any help from the internet. As an artist my taste has changed with an equally aware time when it comes to criticizing another’s work. I’ve been taught to only share the good if it’s really from my heart.

Creations that never see day

I say the worst song is the one that wasn’t made because all songs are a collection of sounds.

Not everyone’s gonna make a hit but each piece gets put away in the safe for reflection if needed but you need to fail forward.

Of course that’s assuming if you’re scared of failure but I don’t think that’s the case.

It might not be popular to take the PC route in this opinion but I’m acknowledging the fact I’m still growing myself.

I can’t see myself wanting to be the judge on someone else’s work and let the word of mouth do the talking.

Maybe that’s playing it safe but there’s plenty of other ways I can express my opinion on something else.

If I get put in a position where my critique on someone else’s work is needed then I’ll most likely share what I liked.

I’m naturally wired to find the positives on projects I’m included in and that ends up being the difference maker in building relationships.

Final thoughts

There was a side to me that was interested in seeing if anything I made would pop up and came across this review that was funny.

Shared from Reddit

I didn’t even need to hear it to see that this critique was overly harsh.

I’ll probably sound hurt in my opinion but there couldn’t be anything that was produced and shared sounding that bad!

The song got picked apart in every aspect.

If anything this makes me wanna continue perfecting my work so it never gets this type of comment.

My response if it were me

This lesson shows how critical your songs can be received by the world.

I haven’t talked directly to anyone that we mentioned but it takes having tough skin and being able to make adjustments for longevity.

An example is when I’d be around and kids on the block would roast the song Gucci Gang.

What’s crazy was how many people probably would’ve agreed.

Personally I’ve heard the song before and wouldn’t necessarily agree that it’s the worst rap song ever.

But my advice to anyone is keep working at perfecting your skill.

Especially if you wanna be taken seriously for your craft.
