Why is Vegito more cocky than Gogeta?

There are some non canon versions that were introduced at some points in DBZ and GT.

When we compare the alternative fusion in Vegito, that form was made official before Gogeta. Same as Broly, the concept was introduced earlier than when Toriyama decided to get involved with.

Every film prior to the DragonBall Super Broly film was unofficial work.

This was a milestone for many fans when this film was released because it was the official canon release of characters that we were familiar with.

Both Broly and Gogeta were made canon in this film officially.

Their characters I felt were portrayed pretty well considering how much power both fighters had.

And now that they’re official it makes understanding their character much easier.

The movie is worth watching if you like great fight sequences, witnessing the strongest fighters you’ve ever seen and following the Super timeline.

The movie Fusion Reborn was the first time we’re introduced to Gogeta.

This was the fusion that was needed to defeat Super Janemba.

GT Gogeta

There’s also a GT Fusion made where Gogeta’s the warrior strong enough to defeat Omega Shenron.

It’s in the Shadow Dragon Saga that can be found in the GT box set.

Because it’s only in the film it’s exclusive to that existence only.

It still hasn’t been introduced to the anime yet.

Nonetheless it’s still one of the strongest display of 2 warriors that we’ve ever seen in the story.

Final Thoughts

This reminds me of an earlier post that I made on what it means when something’s canon in anime.

Seeing your favorite characters finally becoming canon is a big deal for some fans because it brings order to the universe.

The one created by the writers and the one we live in.

Gogeta is a great addition to the DragonBall franchise and had an incredible display of power against Broly.

It confirmed for me that Gogeta is indeed the strongest fighter in all of DragonBall.

Same for Broly, his power looked even more destructive than what it was in the earlier movies.

This film just did a good job in making an exciting movie with this one.
