Why is media important in our lives? (explained)

I’ll be answering why media is important.

Media is the cornerstone of what our modern society thrives off of.

I’m taking the time to look at what the specifics are in making media so important in today’s culture.

Why is media important in our lives?

It has the power to influence entire audiences that we deal with daily, shaping our reality. It educates us on any topic that we’re attempting to understand. From there it’s evolved to influencing politics. Society in general’s learn to use it to where it’s become a social placement tool for people. It’s t try

what makes media powerful

Media has a power of communicating difficult messages and simplify a person’s learning curve.

You combine that with almost instantly receiving these messages on demand.

It makes getting your voice heard much easier.

The ability to know what’s going on at all times keeps us more in tune with what’s going on than ever.

The quicker we can get information, the faster we can improve our decision making skills.

We as a society came a long way from how we used to receive information.

For some eras it could take days or weeks before they would get an update on an important situation.

You speed up to now where you can get something as specific as a detailed breakdown about a recent event followed or something similar.

Depending on what you use social media for, it can improve your feedback rate (in terms of whatever your goals are).

The ability to see what your friends and others think about a performance or whatever you follow is an incredibly valuable asset.

It compounds to where it does more than just becoming a casual thing, it leads to something that affects your entire life.

in what way does media affect your life in personal

According to brainly they make the claim that it negatively impacts the average individual, possibly causing stress, anxiety, depression and loneliness.

I would have to disagree with them about all of the stress, anxiety, depression and loneliness it causes.

Yes, it’s possible to experience all of that without a proper treatment of social media apps, but with the right use it’s amazing.

It’s made making friends easier than ever and eliminate the need to go out to in less than ideal areas to make new acquaintances.

Media’s created influence with a tremendous impact on friends I already had and caused them to go on and do incredible things as a result.

With responsible use it can do a lot of good, teaching us things we probably would never have learned,

Ideal use is having it function as a tool that keeps us all well informed.

Having that view of it instead of as a necessity is what makes it much easier for me to enjoy.

It’s played a big role in functioning as a tool to enhance my life in more ways than one.

Thanks to social media it’s made it much easier to connect with like minded people that are as passionate about topics as I am.

At times I’ll find myself using it in an unhealthy way, but I keep it in check when it’s noticed.

Most of the time it’s pointed about by other people that use social media in a way that’s often better at using it than me.

I enjoy connecting with and sharing media that engages our interests.

One of the best apps that easily connects us is messenger.

It’s a product of Facebook but functions as a normal messaging app.

Another may even be Snapchat.

With either you can share text, video, pictures and audio.

These type of apps capture the essence of what makes media valuable.

Media has allowed me to share ideas, thoughts and examples effectively with the hundreds of posts that I’ve made so far on the site.

If you decide to market yourself digitally it’ll definitely include media of some sort to get the job done.

It’s proven to be very helpful when earning the pick in being added to a surprise project or when showcasing work that was critiqued.

Media’s proven to be more than what’s said, rather than created because it’s the new way to educate an audience.

That’s a huge area of opportunity for any business owner.

In theory, if you were to make yourself an expert in any area of media you’ll have the ability to connect with a portion of the world.

There’s been a surge of people learning the most they ever have all off the comfort of their own phone.

With how easy it is to share information, it’s made informing audiences easier as well.

Some of the most popular media sites in the world have become some people’s main source of news and information.

It’s becoming most popular on sites that’s providing plenty of video content to their users.

This is happening with the likes of Facebook, Twitter and YouTube to be specific.

Platform Options

With the designs of media ranging for how you can express a message, it expanded to one of the biggest choices in social media.

We come from when the newspaper was one of the only forms of media available, it was changed with the Internet era.

What the Internet era did was allow creators to express their own messages instantly in a way that others across the world could see too.

From there we were given the opportunity to share thoughts and opinions on whatever topic we wanted.

You grew more popular as you shared your opinion on topics that other people cared about in the world.

At first it was only text, but then added images, sounds, video, and even live sessions to create another option for users.

Here we are in 2023 with over dozens of main outlets shared that allow us to communicate.

Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Blogger, and much more popular platforms allow its users to express.

There’s people that use both, social media and non-social media type avenues to get their messages.

I’ll come across people who are trying to decide on whether to use social media or blogging.

Both have their strengths, and you may think you can only choose one, but both can be an option as well.

Here’s an excellent blogger that explains her experience with doing both full-time.

Blogging Vs. Social Media

I’m very indecisive about my relationship on social media, I’ve had multiple abandoned accounts.

It seems as if I’m finally experiencing a better time with using it how it’s intended to.

I’m purely sharing media that I find interesting, while at the same time discovering similar pieces of content.

I enjoy the less evasive pressure of having to “keep up with the kardashians” so to speak, a blog can be informative and educational.

The same can be done with social media, the only drawback I have with it is the limited amount of media that can be displayed.

There’s great socials that allow for plenty to be shown and they’re incredibly useful.

The main difference for me is the ownership and opportunity to build a brand in the future as you gain success with it.

You can virtually do the same thing on both sides, there’s just a greater challenge in my opinion to be original with a blog.

Final Thoughts

Media in general is taking new shape and form with each day.

As long as you’re able to share consumable content, it qualifies.

What’s your favorite form of media?
