Is Blogger good for affiliate marketing? (4 points answered)

Yeah it’s good for basic blogging but if you plan on turning your brand into a business then you’ll want to use WordPress instead. There’s a tier package that’s unmatched when compared to other platforms and provides an easy to use interface that makes taking care of business as simple as you can imagine.

I’ll be answering the question “Is blogger good for affiliate marketing”.

With a growing of people interested in learning more about this skill eventually run into platforms that promise success.

If you came across this name then you probably also heard of WordPress, Wix, Squarespace and sites like those.

The goal in this would be to find the best platform you can use in order to share a monetized link.

Calling all creators

Let’s look into blogger and if it’s good enough.

Is Blogger Good For Affiliate Marketing

Does Anyone Still Use Blogger?

Yes, there’s dedicated professionals that still use the blogger platform to this day.

It’s one of the older platforms but still has relevancy although I would say that it comes second to the previously mentioned WordPress.

There’s just been less complaints that I’ve seen with Blogger when comparing the 2.

The company started in 1999 and is still used by people in 2023, they still satisfy the requirements needed to be successful online.

It mainly comes down to the content shared because people still read many blogs daily and if they find yours with content that they’re looking for then they’ll visit regularly.

Can Google Sites Be Used In Affiliate Marketing

According to Linked In affiliate marketing is one of the greatest ways to can monetize a blog that you run.

Google sites is one of the better free options that you could choose if you decide to start a website.

It’s been shown to be a stepping stone for other internet marketers to start earning an income.

It’s best recommended to go this route if you already have a good following of some sort that you’re planning to monetize.

One of the most attractive things about this option for most beginners is that it’s Google hosted (meaning they own the domain).

My recommendation is if you’re going to put in all of the work to produce content for a site it’ll be in good interest for you to own the platform.

It’s good for short term buzz but if you’re planning on expanding to branding and things alike it’ll make sense to buy a name you own.

There are benefits to using this as your site for affiliate marketing:

  • Built in Authority
  • Access to 49 Million keywords and 55 million potential searches monthly
  • Basic user interface

Authority is the same as having credibility for your site.

The higher your score the higher the likelihood that you have an established audience in the industry.

Because your site is powered through Google itself it makes gaining rank (which impacts views) in their search engine easier.

The layout and design structure that they provide you are pretty basic (especially in comparison) with paid programs.

They follow a simple drag and drop system that makes any beginner able to use their platform.

What is The Purpose of Blogging?

Blogging is done to create an engaging website that earns sales for your brand.

These sales are what earn money for your website, when you earn money on a consistent basis.

The sales (depending on if they’re your own product or another company’s) are what make up the action of affiliate marketing.

Regardless on if you’re using blogger or even Google sites makes little difference because you’re really depending on your success with gathering views on your site first.

There’s a cycle in where you pick a focus, build a website, earn views and monetize them through the use of affiliate links.

After that happens the process starts all over again as you grow in authority on the internet.

Blogging is the medium that can allow you to participate in affiliate marketing.

There’s a site called the Digital Revenue that explains pretty well on how affiliate marketing works as a whole, check it out when you can.

If you have quality content then you’ll eventually gain an audience that’s interested in what you have to say.

They both have the similar amounts of effort in order to succeed in either, but have a difference.

When you’re searching for new affiliate products to promote, you never know for sure how much you’ll earn per sale which increases unpredictability.

Let’s say you promote a direct service or product you created, you’ll have a much better expectation on what you’ll be earning.

That’s not to say that monetizing your blog through affiliate marketing isn’t worth it.

Matter of fact you could make great money.

All it takes is the ability to share some of your useful knowledge or interesting skill with the world.

On blogger you’ll have the ability to try and promote your product through demonstration

Is WordPress Good For Professional Websites

Yeah, they have everything that you’ll need in order to create a high quality website.

SEO will be a majority of your focus when building a website that’s profitable.

WordPress is made for proficiency in this area.

If you expect to earn affiliate sales from blogging then you’ll be spending a good amount of your first year (if not longer) working on SEO and the plugins provided by WordPress make it easy to meet those demands.

There’s users who built sites that earn millions of viewers everyday from the assistance of a well built WordPress website.

Is Wealthy Affiliate a Good Program?

Wealthy affiliate is one of the best platforms in the market that teaches you how to become an online entrepreneur through the use of a website.

Ironically enough they’re powered through a WordPress business account and breaks down the needed techniques in order to make money online.

They’re packed with an affiliate program that has lucrative payouts for its existing members that share the platform with new members.

They have a FREE Starter Membership which eventually turns to a premium membership going into your second month valued at as little as $49-$400 a month (depending on which tier package you select).

What you get is any and all type of support that you can want for starting a business up from the ground with the assistance of a website.

Strongly consider this method if you’re 100% committed to making money online.

I’m planning on having a group that works together to reach goals faster in the platform.

You can secure a spot by clicking the banner below, I’m only taking 6 new partners.

Final Thoughts

Blogger itself is a good tool to start affiliate marketing.

It’s been around for a while and still sees success even after a decade of business.

There’s other free alternative sites as well with Google Sites but WordPress is my favorite platform for blogging.

If you’re still looking for a platform to begin your blog and want a full breakdown on how to use the tools of the platform then check it Wealthy Affiliate.

If you’re looking for a combination of having an affiliate program to join and training on scaling your own online business, try Wealthy Affiliate.

They have education alone that’s worth the amount of a degree at your local college.

You get a free week and discounted first month after trying out their 24/7 online support.

I may do a fill review on the platform as a whole but I’m giving you a breakdown of all the benefits you get with a membership.

You can consider this am early green light on a project that I’ll be focusing on building in the meanwhile.
