We’ll be looking at what an anime forum is.
This post in itself could very well end up being one.
We’ll see how far things go and if it’s something we clearly want to continue then I would gladly continue sharing.
We’re gonna go ahead and move forward with the question though.
What Is An Anime forum?
An anime forum is:
- A place for fans of Japanese animation to meet up
- They usually include topics relating to Games – Movies – Manga – TV Shows and others relating to anime.
A place for fans of Japanese animation to discuss anime
Otherwise known as an anime forum or anime community its purpose is still the same.
To discuss and share opinions on all things related to anime.
Games – Movies – Manga – TV Shows (Anime)
When I first recall a few of the games that caught attention in the anime community were a few based off these titles:
- Dragon Ball
- Yu-Gi-Oh!
- Devil May Cry
- Yu Yu Hakusho
- Naruto
- Pokémon
Dragon Ball (Explained)
DragonBall is the story focused around a hero named Goku.

Sent to earth as a baby – he goes on to become its protector from any threat
I’ve come across comparisons of Goku being the parallel of Superman and think it’s fairly reasonable.
Yu-Gi-Oh! (explained)

This is a physical card game which makes its fandom even more apparent.
There’s rules and tournaments for the real game based off the manga and show’s success.
The goal is to eliminate your opponent’s life points to Zero using strategy and the collecting of powerful cards.
Devil May Cry (Explained)

Devil May Cry is an “urban fantasy” title based off action and created by Hideki Kamiya.
I’m the least familiar with this story although I got a few of the video games and came across a few graphic novels.

It centers around the story of Dante who learns of his mixed demon ancestry and plays on the name showing his humanity.
Yu Yu Hakusho (Explained)

Yu Yu Hakusho is the story of Yusuke Urameshi and his adventures of becoming a spirit deceived after getting another chance at life.
It’s one of the more popular creations created by Yoshihiro Togashi.
It has some of the most beautifully shot stories when dialogue occurs and highly entertaining fight sequences.
Naruto (Explained)

Naruto is another mainstream anime hit that’s seen successful on several levels.
It focuses on the story of Naruto and his quest for becoming Hokage of his village hidden in the leaves.
The manga were my most expensive part about following the story.
There’s so many pieces of literature with Naruto that any fan could agree with in saying there’s tons of story to follow.
Pokemon (Explained)

Pokemon is probably the longest running franchise compared to the rest of this list.
The popularity came in having such iconic characters and being able to add it into so many projects.
The premise is being a Pokemon Trainer and rising to the top by capturing powerful Pokemon.
These monsters come in all shapes and sizes to make owning one as customizable as it gets.
