I’ll be explaining why Ghostface is so clumsy.

He’s actually an all time great.

He literally paved the way for other greats to eventually take lead and compete for recognition.

Everybody that actually watches movies knows about Scream and Ghostface.

It doesn’t matter where you’re from but let’s get to the question.

Why is Ghostface So Clumsy?

The clumsiness of Ghostface really comes down to who really is behind the mask. It’s a different person each film so the reputation varies.

The perception of Ghostface from scream 1-3

Ghostface is continually seen as someone who does a lot of tripping and falling over items in pursuit of his victims.

His reputation was to taunt all of his victims through a phonecall and antagonize them until he attacks.

I believe the humanity of Ghostface was being focused on to make his cunningness allow to show in the further films.

When Ghostface was taken more seriously as a horror icon

Ghostface was always horror done right when you look at Scream as a whole but there’s a general consensus that things improved after 4.

Scream 4 and so on didn’t continue to see as much of a clumsy Ghostface.

This was one that was far more threatening and believable in terms of terror.

You can type in “ghostface falls” on any video platform and find plenty of clips.

Part of what makes his character believable is the fact he can still fall and be prone to the same mistakes anyone would make.

There’s even further theories people around the world share that suggest alcoholism could even be a culprit.

The only conclusion I could draw is that the falls happen on purpose because he’s aware of things being a horror movie.

It’s a dangerous game to play in running around with a buck 120 knife literally.

That’s his style and it actually would be a better weapon to choose and be clumsy with – let’s say you switched it for a gun

That puts things in a much more different light.

Final thoughts

His clumsiness actually is what makes the Scream franchise so successful if you ask me.

Tripping and falling in a reality you’re self aware in makes having a knife much better to fall with than other weapons.

These are more highlight moments that if ghost face were more aware of this digital age is doing something for the clip.

It’s genius in observation.

This is yet another reason why Ghostface would makes my list of all time great killers.
