Why does a star’s life expectancy depends on mass? (The REAL reason explained)

I’ll be explaining why a star’s life expectancy depends on its mass.

Why does a star’s life expectancy depends on mass?

Stars can go on to live millions of years after fusion. Some live longer than others, it depends on the mass ultimately. It’s because the size of the star determines its ability to burn fuel, and when the star is completely out of energy its life is over, same as anything else that exists because of energy.

It’s size

As less of a surprise for me, as compared to others who may have skipped astronomy class, a star’s size depends on its mass.

The Fusion Process

Nuclear fusion energy is the thing that powers many different things in space, the sun and stars are the most well known.

In the stars, as well as the sun, the fusion process specifically happens when light nuclei merge to form a heavier nucleus.

This creates everything that gives the stars it’s look.
