I’ll be answering is Spirit Reaper banned.

This is a popular card in the Yu-Gi-Oh community.

Let’s look more into it.

Is Spirit Reaper banned?

No.

I remember this card being in the original decks from the show. It’s popular, but there’s a couple known ways to defeat it with the use of cards like Forbidden Lance and Enemy controller. It was on the limited list but short lived, now it can be played freely.

The best thing you can do as a duelist is understand its effects to be used effectively.

What would get a card banned in duel monsters?

Most of the reasons that a card would get banned in duel monsters are because they’re too strong.

Banning them either becomes their fates or they’ll end up on the limited or semi-limited list.

It can get tricky though becuase some cards may be exclusively banned on the TCG or the OCG.

Either one or both.
