No. It does reveal the fusion monster that would be summoned from the extra deck. That’s only meant to justify the monster that you would special summon after playing this card.

Fusion and Special Summon Answered Questions

Is Fusion Summon a Special Summon?

Ritual Summons, Fusion Summons, Synchro Summons, Xyz Summons, Pendulum Summons, and Link Summons are all considered Special Summons.

Final thoughts

To address the question again, Fusion Deployment does not summon from your extra deck, it only reveals a card from that area.

You could use the Gladiator Beasts Deck with this card pretty well and get a few extra summons as a result from your hand or main deck.
