No. It does reveal the fusion monster that would be summoned from the extra deck. That’s only meant to justify the monster that you would special summon after playing this card.

Dark Cavalry with Dark Magician being the building type that would need to be focused on specially to pull it off.

Dark Magician is one of the OG monsters in the show and is possibly all time most influential types in the game.

To address the question again, Fusion Deployment does not summon from your extra deck, it only reveals a card from that area.

You could use the Gladiator Beasts Deck with this card pretty well and get a few extra summons as a result from your hand or main deck.
