I’ll be discussing if Dark Bribe is good.
Is Dark Bribe Good?
It’s a good card but not as much you may think. I like having a few counter-traps but this card can be negated pretty easily. The reviews I came across are that it gives too much advantage to the opponent. The difference is in drawing a single card. A magic drain might rival things or even Solemn Judgment.
Counter Traps And Their Effectiveness
Speed is the game when it comes to using counter traps.
It has to be done strategically though because there’s instant spells that could be done too to negate your counter trap.
So a scenario where it plays out is your opponent summons or activates a card then it’ll meet the requirement for your trap.
The breakdown could be pretty straightforward.
Dark Bribe
There’s a lot of ways to negate this card.
There’s also a mixture of people who use this card and are happy with the results.
It comes down to if you’re comfortable with allowing your opponent to draw a card without it affecting your current play.
An interesting method I came across is having this card in triplets if you’re going to add them.
Here’s a play involving Dark Bribe that I thought chained to an effective turn overall.
