Can you add Extra Deck Monsters to your hand?
You cannot add extra deck monsters to your hand. It can consist of XYZ, Synchros, Links and fusions. Your limit’s 15 and they have to stay on that side unless they’re going to the graveyard or playing field.
XYZ Monsters
These took me a while to come around but they come out pretty well.
I played the game when it first came out so this wasn’t introduced.
I made it as far as GX and stopped for a while.
But I came across these on Master Duel.
You have to have a matching amount of stars to combine 2 monsters and make a new one.
It’s as simple as that.
Synchro Monsters
Synchro monsters are another type that I was a little late to the party with but they’re good too. They can be combined with a Tuner and whatever other monster that fits the requirements. There’s a plethora of synchros that can be made based off the archetypes you carry.
