Yusuke turned into a demon because his ancestor Raizen possessed him during his battle with Sensui.

When the Atavism of the Mazoku grants Yusuke the power of Raizen it activates his demon blood.

Hence this is what earns Yusuke’s transformation the title of his Mazoku form.

This transformation’s been around since the 90’s but fans don’t seem to think the forms aged too well.

I bought Jump Force before it was discontinued and thought it was nice to see Yusuke have a transformation nonetheless.

He can detect the supernatural but if there was anyone else that could do it then I’d say Kuwabara.

He claims it’s just a title but he’s had plenty of experiences that prove he lives up to the name.
