It’s AJ, and this is my commercialized blog site, where I can share my lifestyle interests and provide thoughtful insights on topics worth discussing.

Today I’ll be answering the question “Why are there worms in my apples?”

You might find that this applies to you if you grow apples (or someone else does) in your area.

Some of the signs may be holes in your apples, discoloration, or they have an usual “dry” look to them.

But let’s get to the question.

Why are there worms in my apples?

These worms you think you might have are most likely coddling moths, and they might even be female fruit flys nesting their babies. You may be tempted to try these apples, but it’s worth finding out if these apples are cooking or eating apples. Regardless, you’re going to want to use pesticides to preserve them.
