Today I’ll be answering the question “why is togepi not in the original 150?”
If you follow the Pokémon series then you’re familiar with some of the iconic monsters from the first generation.
Togepi with Misty could be comparable to the likes of what pikachu was for ash (with less dependability on fighting).
But let’s get into the question!
Why is togepi not in the original 150?
It’s actually consistent to how the writers incorporate Pokémon monsters to tease the next generation. We’ve seen the reveal of Togepi in the first season before the next generation is officially revealed, and we even see this with the legendary Pokémon, Ho-Oh.
