He’s a character that we’ll see a lot in the series, but is he strong by the standards of the show?

Is Mr. Satan strong by Dragon Ball standards?

Yes. He’s strong, but weak compared to the other Z warriors. Although he’s made to be a joke in the series, he’s still one of the strongest humans. His world championship title should be indicator enough of him being a strong fighter. After all of the villains he stood up to, you still have to give him the title of being brave.
